When to See a Doctor While Using Diflucan

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any severe side effects. These include severe skin rashes, hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat (angioedema), or unusual bleeding or bruising.

Liver Problems

Diflucan can affect your liver. Report any symptoms suggesting liver problems, such as yellowing of your skin or eyes (jaundice), dark urine, persistent nausea or vomiting, or unusual fatigue.

Other Concerns

Schedule a follow-up appointment with your doctor as recommended. This allows monitoring of your treatment progress and identification of any potential issues. If your toenail fungus doesn’t improve after several weeks of treatment, or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor. Also contact your physician if you develop new symptoms unrelated to the fungal infection while taking Diflucan.
