Applying the Cream
Squeeze a pea-sized amount of cream onto your fingertip. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin, ensuring complete coverage. Gently rub the cream into the skin until it’s absorbed. Avoid applying excessive cream; a thin layer is sufficient.
Follow the instructions on your cream’s label regarding application frequency. This is usually once or twice daily.
Important Considerations
- Wash your hands before and after applying the cream to prevent spreading the infection. Avoid covering the treated area with an airtight bandage unless specifically instructed by your doctor. Allow the area to breathe. Continue using the cream for the full course of treatment, even if the symptoms improve quickly. Stopping early might allow the infection to return.
