Dosage and Administration Guidelines for Cialis

Cialis comes in several dosages: 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg tablets. Your doctor will determine the appropriate starting dose based on your individual needs and health condition. Begin with the lowest effective dose and adjust as needed, under medical supervision.

Dosage for Erectile Dysfunction

For erectile dysfunction (ED), the recommended starting dose is usually 10mg, taken as needed, at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. The dose can be increased to 20mg or decreased to 5mg depending on effectiveness and side effects. Do not exceed 20mg in a 24-hour period.

Dosage for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

For benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), the usual starting dose is 5mg taken once daily. Your doctor might adjust this based on your response to treatment. This is a daily medication, not taken only as needed.

Always swallow Cialis tablets whole with a glass of water. Avoid grapefruit juice, as it can interact with Cialis and affect its efficacy. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and discuss any concerns or side effects you experience.

Important Note:

Cialis is a prescription medication. Do not take Cialis if you are allergic to tadalafil or any of its ingredients. Consult your physician to discuss potential side effects and drug interactions before starting this medication.
