Understanding Zaditor Dosage and Usage Instructions

Always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage. Commonly, adults and children 6 years and older use one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.

Adjusting Dosage

Your doctor might adjust this based on your individual needs and response to treatment. Never increase or decrease the dosage without consulting your ophthalmologist. Children under 6 should only use Zaditor under strict medical supervision.

Proper Application

To apply, gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Place one drop into this pocket, looking upward. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to your eye or any surface to prevent contamination. After application, gently close your eyelid.

If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between applications to prevent dilution and ensure effective medication absorption.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Don’t double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Always read the patient information leaflet included with your medication for complete instructions. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions or concerns.
