Dosage and Administration Instructions

Shake the suspension well before each use. Administer the medication orally using a calibrated oral syringe or medicine cup for accurate dosing.

Children (6 months and older):

The typical dose is 10 mg/kg body weight once daily for three days. For example, a child weighing 20 kg would receive 200 mg once daily for three days. Divide this dose into two or more equal doses if needed for easier administration.

Adults:

The usual adult dose is 500 mg on day 1, followed by 250 mg per day for four more days (total dose 1500mg).

Always follow your doctor’s specific instructions. The dose may be adjusted based on your individual needs and medical condition.

Important Considerations:

Do not exceed the recommended dosage. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. Do not double the dose. If you experience side effects, such as nausea or diarrhea, contact your doctor immediately.
