Claritin d dosage

For adults and children 12 years and older, the usual recommended dose of Claritin D 12-hour is one tablet every 12 hours. Do not exceed two tablets in a 24-hour period.

Children under 12 should not take Claritin D. Always consult your pediatrician or doctor before administering any medication to children, especially those with underlying health conditions.

Important Note: Claritin D contains both loratadine (an antihistamine) and pseudoephedrine (a decongestant). Always read the label carefully and follow the instructions precisely. If you experience any adverse reactions, stop taking the medication and seek immediate medical attention.

Specific circumstances may necessitate dosage adjustments. Factors such as liver or kidney function, age, and other medications you’re taking can influence the appropriate dose. Discuss your individual needs with your physician or pharmacist to ensure safe and effective use of Claritin D.
